Playlists

Use playlists to organize your music and personalize your listening experience.

Creating Playlists

Method 1: From Menu

  1. Click File → New Playlist
  2. Enter the playlist name
  3. Click "Create"

Method 2: From Sidebar

  1. In the sidebar's "Playlists" section
  2. Click the + button
  3. Enter the name and confirm

Adding Songs to Playlists

Drag and Drop

Drag songs from your music library onto the playlist in the sidebar.

Right-Click Menu

  1. Right-click on the song you want to add
  2. Select Add to Playlist
  3. Choose the target playlist

Batch Add

  1. Hold Cmd (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows) to select multiple songs
  2. Right-click on the selected songs
  3. Choose the target playlist

Smart Playlists

iPlayer supports rule-based auto-generated smart playlists:

Creating Smart Playlists

  1. Click File → New Smart Playlist
  2. Set filter rules, for example:
    • Artist contains "Taylor Swift"
    • Added in the last 30 days
    • Play count greater than 10
  3. Click "Create"

Managing Playlists

Rename

Right-click playlist → Rename

Delete

Right-click playlist → Delete

Note

Deleting a playlist does not delete the songs themselves, it only removes the association between songs and the playlist.

Export Playlist

  1. Right-click on the playlist
  2. Select Export
  3. Choose export format (M3U / PLS)
