If you have a folder of FLAC files and an iPhone, the first thing you discover is that nothing plays them. The second thing you discover is that Apple Music will not even import them — drop a FLAC album on it and it silently disappears.
This is not a bug. Apple chose ALAC as its lossless format, and iOS ships no FLAC decoder for the Files app either. So you need one of three approaches.
